At least stemyn never told me I suck:smile:

Back to the subject for good Mexican food in the Carrollton area, try out Los Lupes in the old Braums at Josey and George Bush.

Wife got back in town Saturday so we went to "Sevan," to unwind. It is a Lebanese/Middle Eastern Restaurant on Greenville across from Whole Foods. It is one of our favorite places to eat in the area.

Hedary's is another Lebanese place (original in Ft. Worth) with the reputation. We prefer Sevan. Quiet, respectful, and they allow you to take your time without being intrusive.

We have a Los Lupes here in Irving.  You ought to try their half price happy hour appetizers on M-F 5 to 7.  Great prices on adult beverages too if you do that kind of thing.

Don't do margaritas but wouldn't mind a Dos Equis with some good enchiladas.

One of the appetizers you can get is guacamole made at your table. Good as long as you don't let them overload it with jalapenos.

That sounds good. I like guacamole but I can see how it could be screwed up with too many jalapenos.

Yep...would have been tasty if it hadn't been too spicy to eat.

I worked at Taco Bueno as a kid 20 years ago and I can't remember how I used to make the guacamole. I remember putting in more tomatoes than jalapenos but can't remember the spice.

I finally got my bowling fix already. To my surprise, we had a bowling day at work. Funny how when you've got your own bowling ball and shoes that people think that makes you a good bowler. In my case, nothing could be further from the truth. It just means that my mom thought we all needed bowling balls one year for Christmas...
