| I've never had amaretto and OJ...that sounds almost too good...I enjoy Frangelico (hazelnut liquor), 7-Up and a lime.

Fellow Fort Worthians, I'm telling you to get thyself to Bella Cafe and try the grilled chicken ceasar salad. Before you stop there, go to the liquor store and purchase a bottle of Chateau St. Michelle, Riseling. Best meal I've had in a long time.
For those close by a Panera bread, before they change the menu, try the mozzerella and tomato salad. Paired with a crusty bread you've got it made....

| Is Bella Cafe the little Italian joint down by the Bluebonnet circle? I've been there for lunch a few times and love it. I also have enjoyed the tomato and mozarella salad at Panera's.

Bella has moved from Bluebonnet Circle further west up South Hills Drive. Where it used to sit now sits a Mellow Mushroom pizza restaurant.
And with Bella you can take in your own wine, which makes for a great dinner bargain.

| That's the one I've been to. I meant to say "in the vicinity of Bluebonnet Circle". Won't be taking wine, since I'm there at lunch.

| Went to a place called Scotty P's for lunch today. Had the Caesar Burger. Caesar salad on the burger. It was real good. I normally do not have any veggies on my burger, so this was a big switch for me. Also had the onion rings which are pretty good.

I had an awesome dinner last night and thought I'd share.
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #c6e1d7"York Street
http://www.yorkstreetdallas.com
Started with a small dish of tiny olives in a garlic vinaigrette and some delicous roasted nuts, served with a small shot-glass sized portion of a good rose'. Fluffy roll arrived at this time, too.
Appetizer: Little neck clams and mussels, garlic steamed with garden oregano and toast - garnished with shredded parmesan and carrot, served nestled in an amazing broth.
Main course: Roast rack of lamb served with a salad of arugula, purslane, mint, cucumber and feta - The lamb was probably the best I've had in 20 years. PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned, it cut like BUTTER and the chops themselves were thick and fulfilling, not skimpy like most places. The salad was divine - light refreshing and very flavorful.
Dessert: apple cajeta - sliced apples baked and wrapped in a cornmeal based crepe with caramel/goat cheese top.. really sweet and very good!
All enjoyed with a lovely Elizabeth Spencer Cab Sav 2006 which was very very smooth and just the right intensity for me. I'm not a big red wine drinker so it's great to find one I like.
York St is TINY TINY TINY and is located on Lewis St just west off of Skillman. It's in a very very small stand alone building that looks like a small concrete block. Next to it is a car repair place. It doesn't even look open from the outside. Inside the atmosphere is very soft, cozy, not loud and there are about 12 tables. Some of them are 2 tops the rest 4 tops.

If you're looking for a very lovely experience with absolutely incredible food.. go there! Reservations would be a good idea, due to it's size and popularity. It was full last night without a seat to spare and this was on a Wednesday night.
It's certainly not cheap, but worth every penny spent. I split the tab with a friend and this included 3 glasses of wine. Yeah, I had two! Split with tip, my portion was $93 - so it's not somewhere you'd go every weekend. Very well worth it if you want to splurge!
