Stopped at my favorite little market in Port Allen right outside of BR in Port Allen (Bordelon's).. open at 7 every morning.. Bought 10 lbs pork boudin,5 lbs of seafood boudin, and a couple of links of green onion sausage.... split it up amongst the chirruns... and kept a bit for us....

I'll call him whilst in between the hallowed walls of the best little meat/seafood store in the South! He may over-order, but hey.. I do that every time, and find that it is indeed ok to over-indulge here, as the rewards last for weeks on end.

I went to Rosa's for lunch on Friday. Got it to go. The fresh salsa's were pretty good. The tamales were not that good, but the burrito was.

Catfish Sam's is very good.

That was a mexican restaurant before it was Catfish Sam's. "La Casita" was the name I think. I remember it had a concrete or wood burro out in front of it. We ate there once a week when I was a kid.
