Post # 10 in the thread, after a few of those "torture" ( suprisingly, all from males; you'd think they'd at least enjoy the ladies' skimpy outfits :eyes:  ) comments :

I enjoy the skating, but wouldn't miss a college football or basketball game to watch it.  But I'd check during commercials.

Also really like watching gymnastics.  Even when I was young, thin, and had endless energy, I could not possibly do what they do !!!  Even when my best friend Janet's dad built her a balance beam on the back patio ---- thankfully, only about a foot off the ground, so we did not injure ourselves.............

See ?! I stayed on topic !!  Okay, so I mentioned gymnastics, too ---- because my mind immediately jumped from Winter Olympics to Summer.  It does stuff like that.  All the time.  Look, a butterfly !!

There's no feud here, people........... :vibe: .......move along; return to your homes !!  Oh wait, you're probably already there.

It's all good !!:flower:

There's a movie ( "Men With Brooms" ) set against a backdrop of curling starring the delectable Paul Gross ---- Constable Benton Fraser from "Due South"............. :shades:

Since I don't know how to post pics, this link will have to suffice :

Attention....attention....may I have your attention. This is a true restaurant review post in a not so restaurant review thread. So, in the event of bringing this subject back on topic, I'm offering a true restaurant review and a definite recommendation for all of you.

If you ever have the opportunity to come to the southwest side of Fort Worth and are in the need of an excellent meal, may I recommend Sweet Home Chicago. Ric, this is around the corner from you. It's in a strip center on McCart, next door to a Schlotzksy's sandwich shop.

Sweet Home Chicago was started in 1999 by a man who immigrated here from Yugoslovia via Chicago. He serves the best gyro that I've ever had this side of the Atlantic, true Philadelphia (or Chicago) cheese steak sandwiches, of of course true Chicago style pizzas. The place is not fancy, however it's full of Chicago memoribilia from the 1980's and 1990's, (pretty much all Micheal Jordan and Bulls posters). The food is phenomenal and I'm a hard person to please when it comes to food. No wine or beer is served, however you can bring in your own. If you want a pizza, call ahead at least 1 1/2 hours before for your order.

Has anyone been to McCormick and Schmick's?

Mary and I are going Sunday, we have reservations for 1:30. They are giving a free meal (from a special menu) to veterans.

They're doing the same at Golden Corral.

...and when you bring in a bottle or two of wine, it almost guarantees you'll make some 'new' friends.....
