I know, I know…shut up Glen...but this bothered me...
To clarify the Lighter Side Ranger thread, I was NOT posting here to complain about someone disagreeing with me on a Ranger thread…lord knows, when it comes to the Rangers, I will debate all day long. For some unknown reason, I’m a Ranger homer and love all things Texas Rangers Baseball.
The thread was started because of an individual that sent a series of PMs that were offended by something I said on a Ranger thread. I was trying to take the high road and come over here where I knew Kent, stemyn, Ric, and a few others would not be offended by me arguing with them (Ric, R.A. still has a future). I have debated anyone on those threads and never expected for someone to take it personally (I do try to stay away from anything personal, unless it's hopper or Zephyr). That was never the intention. However, it was ASSUMED by some, that I was upset by something someone said to ME in a one of those threads on the main board, without really knowing what the real facts were (look up the definition of prejudice).
I thought this side was a “safe haven” for this type of discussion, but instead I was chastised for being thin skinned, a baby, not wearing my pants, and a whiny girl…my intention was to alleviate anything “I” may have done to cause anyone else consternation, not to avoid conflict on my part…
I don’t think it is fair to rush to judgment as to ones intentions, nor one’s mind set at the time of posting the thread…I was wrong in my initial reaction to some of these condescending and prejudice comments, and I deleted said comments as soon as I could…
For those of you that enjoy this little respite board for what it was intended, I apologize…
If I misunderstood the intention of this side board as a place to get away from conflict and name calling, then I apologize for that as well…
It just a freakin’ place for me to get away for brief respites, but apparently there are more rules than I understand…
A number of other folks have made it clear that they agree with this sentiment, but obviously some don’t…
I hope this explains my position, and buries any hatchets…
Sorry to cause all of you, not directly involved, any distress with our little light side…(sorry Yvonne and Kevin)…

You did nothing wrong. Looks like someone followed you is all. I agree, I will debate Rangers all day long.
I feel better these days when all the naysayers can bring up is Chris Young and Soriano (old news, get over it). Those on the Volquez wagon have quieted down over the last month or so.
