| Albert, May the Lord bless and keep you and your family. Life is a journey. The lessons learned yesterday give us strength for tomorrow. I will continue praying.

I have been gently reminded that I have been negligent in posting the latest on albert.
He is doing a little better. We are still learning how the cycles of good and hard days will work. Recently, the good are outnumbering the hard and the hard are less intense each time.
During the good days, he has an appetite with no nausea or vomiting, low fever. Because his body cannot eliminate all of the toxins normally, it does so through the pores. So, we go through a lot of towels!
Another good sign is that he only lost 5 pounds during the last 6 weeks. The previous 3 months, he was averaging over 13 pounds per month, totaling a little over 40 pounds. With other smaller events, the signals are that his body is not shutting down any more; rather, it is fighting.
Have a great Independence Day!

No plans except relaxing. As albert comes out of this cycle, he'll be pretty fatigued. We'll probably still be able to see fireworks from our house though.

That's what the 4th is for right ~ relaxing ... I'm glad you guys won't miss the fireworks - I was really afraid Zephyr or Orphie was going to offer to come put on a show for you ... they always seem to make fireworks into 2 words and you get a little more than you bargained for ...
