I apologize for not posting something sooner, but so much has been going on.
July was the maintenance month; that is, albert didn't get too much better or too much worse. The doctor had been pleased with his condition and we continued plugging away.
Unfortunately, these last 2 weeks has brought a sharp decline in albert's condition. This past weekend, he started the wind-down process. His spirits are good and he is experiencing no pain, thankfully.
That being said, albert has chosen to keep pushing for as long as he can. For those of you who know him well, that is not surprising. Neither of us is approaching this with blinders, but will still press on.
We want to thank you for your prayers and support. There is no way to sufficiently express our appreciation.
I will post when I can as anything changes.

No words... there are no words which can be an adequate response to this. It is heartbreaking to read.
However, it's good there's no pain, it's good he is still calling the shots with regard to his care. And it's good that there are many who care and are praying for you all. Count me as one who is praying for continued strength for Albert and comfort for all.

| I am so very sorry to hear this and am struggling for words but like 'Toes said, sometimes there are none. Please let Albert know that I'm thinking about him and praying for him. Thank you for keeping us updated and prayers for you during this difficult time.
