I would have said liberals are spineless, but that would be an overgeneralization, there are a few with some gumption.
So I will say, a liberal is a person who wants more and more government intrusion, and desires government answer all lifes questions. Liberals either think they are oppressed or think others are and therefore the system is unfair. Liberals believe in equality of outcome rather than equality of opportunity. Liberals will oppress one group to benefit someone others in the name of "fairness."
But really Brother Bill in Garland nailed it the first time, about a poor mans socialist.

You aren't following. I was only saying the one amendment is no more important than the other. The 'right' to bear arms is not more important than the right of speech. Whether we like it or not (and I do not) the woman and her followers have every right to try and 'run the 'rine ruiters (run the marine recruiters) out of their community.
As far as I could see, they, however misguided, were forcibly insisting on their right to make clear what they wanted for their community in way that could hardly be misunderstood.
I understand you'll want to argue the fine points. That's fine.
The 2nd Amendment, no matter how important anyone thinks it is, it isn't more important than the 1st.
If I'm wrong with that, then a popular totalitarian could cause a lot of trouble were his gun not stayed by by the word of truth freely spoken.
